Grist To The Mill Ceilidh Band are:
Ken: tenor banjo, mandolin
Hugh: Irish flute, pennywhistle
Susan: pennywhistle
Miriam: button accordion (melodeon)
Stu: 5 string banjo, songs
Pam: flute, percussion, harmony.
Marg: guitar, songs
The original band members Miriam, Stu, Ken were joined soon after by Susan. They shared an interest in Morris dancing, and a long history of playing folk music. When he isn't playing with the band, Hugh plays in Irish sessions around town. Pam does a bit of everything, and has a smile that lights up the room. Marg is from Dublin and is our star backer, sings, and keeps us laughing. Let us keep you entertained with music to listen or clap to, to sing along with, or to dance to!

We are a ceilidh band playing folksongs and lively traditional dance music – jigs, reels, hornpipes – mainly from England, Ireland and Scotland. We play at cafés, festivals, farmer's markets, ceilidh dances, care facilities and private events around Vancouver.
